Most buildings on campus have 15- or 30-minute loading/unloading parking spaces. There are also two designated food delivery spaces in lot 204 and lot 319. Please follow any specific directives posted on signs.

Purchase up to seven days of daily parking. Select daily parking and choose a date range of up to seven days to cover your stay. Availability is limited, contact our office for solutions if you can’t purchase the access you need.

If you an unaffiliated guest or visitor to campus:

Purchase up to five days of daily parking. Select daily parking or the five-day parking options. Availability is limited.

Electric vehicle (EV) charging is available on the CU Boulder campus.

About our stations:

All charging stations at CU Boulder are on the ChargePoint network and are level II chargers (i.e. will charge a standard EV in a few hours). 

Chargers are open to any plug-in EV user (staff, students and visitors) except for the chargers in the Center for Community (C4C chargers are only available to lot 327 permit holders). 

Charging costs:

Rentable scooters E-scooter access, speed, and parking is managed through GPS technology and include specific details and zones for CU properties.

CU Transportation supports vanpooling to campus by helping form vans and by providing both monetary subsidies and free parking to make it more affordable and accessible to all staff.

Cost

  • 5-7 people with similar commute routes and work schedules share a van provided by Way to Go (Enterprise).

NightRide: Your safe and free alternative to walking alone after dark.

What is NightRide?

NightRide is CU Boulder’s student-operated safe-ride service that allows you to request free, evening transportation to and from any location within Boulder city limits. Travel across campus or to a neighborhood off-campus. CU NightRide is available to current CU Boulder students, faculty and staff.

How to Request a Ride:

  • Download the CU NightRide app from the Apple App Store or Google Play
  • Select “Log In with CU”
  • Enter your IdentiKey and password and tap “Login”
  • Enter your phone number and tap “Confirm”
  • Request your ride!

Guaranteed Ride Home: A free taxi ride home in the event of an emergency or work schedule change.

What is Guaranteed Ride Home?

The objective of the service is to support employees who choose to commute sustainably, don’t have access to a personal vehicle or rely on transit by ensuring they have a way to get home in case of an emergency or unexpected work change.

Who qualifies?

Eligible users for the Guaranteed Ride Home program are staff or faculty full-time employees (FTEs) of CU Boulder and CU System staff/faculty. FTEs are those who work 50% time or greater (benefit eligible).

When can this be used?

Staff or faculty full-time employees who are experiencing a personal or family emergency/illness or an unplanned change in work schedule can use Guaranteed Ride Home.*

Our parking services events group works to reduce impacts on event parking and traffic, however, Parking Services has no control over the hosting group, event locations, dates or times the events are scheduled.

Event Attendees:

Event arrangements are dependent upon the hosting group and venue of the event. For information regarding parking to attend an event, visit our main special events page.

CU Permit Holders:

If your parking lot will be impacted by an upcoming event, you will receive an email with details on alternative parking arrangements.
